Best Christmas Gifts for your Gluten Free Loved Ones

Best Christmas Gifts for your Gluten Free Loved Ones

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! I am a massive Christmas fan, and after Christmas 2020 kept us away from loved ones, this Christmas couldn’t come soon enough! If you fancy treating your gluten free loved ones to a festive pick-me-up, or feel like you deserve to treat yourself, I’ve got just the thing for you

I’ve picked out some amazing small businesses that will deliver the perfect Christmas presents straight to your door in time for Christmas! Some are foodie treats, and some are non-food related.

If you know of any fantastic gluten free Christmas treats that are missing from my guide - please let me know so I can help support some more local businesses.

Cookbooks

‘Baked to Perfection: Delicious Gluten-free Recipes with a Pinch of Science’ by Katarina Cermelj

Katarina’s book is probably my number one gift idea. The title says it all - everything I’ve made from the book has turned out absolutely perfect using slightly unusual methods Katarina has developed through her skills in science. A must have for any gluten free baker.

‘How to Make Anything Gluten Free’ or ‘How to Bake Anything Gluten Free’ by Becky Excell

Queen of gluten free Instagram Becky Excell has released not one, but two gluten free cookbooks this year! Becky’s simple recipes show you how to make GF versions of everything you’ve been missing.

‘The Everything Gluten and Dairy Free Baking Cookbook’ by Alice Wiggins

My very lovely friend Alice worked incredibly hard on this gluten and dairy free bible, and it shows! 200 recipes for tasty gluten and dairy free goods that you’d never suspect are “free from” anything.

‘Healthy Living James’ cookbook by James Wythe

James’s recipes are fail safe options for tasty, healthy home cooked meals. I’ve tried lots of his recipes over the years and they’ve always been a hit. This book contains over 80 gluten, dairy and egg free recipes that are mostly plant based.

Other

Hot water bottle

A cosy hot water bottle is the perfect gift for anyone with tummy issues! I love a good fluffy hot water bottle cover - Not on the High Street has a fab range.

Gluten free chopping board

To avoid cross contamination, it can be helpful for people with coeliac disease to have some separate kitchen items, such as wooden chopping boards. A personalised one would be a super thoughtful gift. Etsy has some lovely options.

Comfy pyjamas

When you’ve been ‘glutened’ you want to be cosy and recover, so comfy PJs are absolutely necessary! I am obsessed with Olivia Hapton pyjamas - they are so silky and incredibly comfortable, as well as super glam.
